and campaigns.
Her unique background includes extensive experience with online strategy and development, information technology (IT), strategic communications, organizational development, and training.
A staunch believer in the interplay between the virtual and physical realms, her experience as an on-the-ground organizer strongly influences her work. She advocates for the vital intersection of innovative tools, enterprise
class technology standards, relevant information, offline integration
and social justice values.
Leda founded ScoutSeven and dotOrganize to address the growing need for online capacity building support in the nonprofit, social change sector.
Recent projects include working with the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund to streamline the implementation and rollout of a new grants management system built on Salesforce.com, leading a complete technology systems redesign
for the Interaction
Institute for Social Change, working with the Story of Stuff Project to streamline and resource
their member engagement strategy and infrastructure, and managing the
overhaul of the Rockwood
Leadership Institute's communications strategy and database
infrastructure.
In previous lives, Leda has also worked
as a graphic design instructor, media strategist, travel writer, and community
organizer.
She holds an honors degree in Comparative Literature from the
University of California at Berkeley. She resides in Oakland, California with her partner and their two children.
